Now Available: Recording and Resources from 2/5 “Tenant Talk Live”

In the most recent “Tenant Talk Live” – a meeting geared towards tenants and resident leaders – NLIHC staff participated in an engaging discussion with two community leaders, Zella Knight and Miracle Fletcher about their experiences serving as commissioners in their cities (Los Angeles and Atlanta, respectively). During the meeting, Ms. Knight and Ms. Fletcher shared how their lived experience informs their activities, especially their work on initiatives and legislation that impacts people who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. They also explored the challenges faced by those working to create or modify legislation that serves the needs of the lowest-income communities. A recording of the conversations is now available here.

NLIHC’s next Tenant Talk Live will be held on March 4 at 6 pm ET (5 pm CT, 4 pm MT, 3 pm PT) and will feature a conversation on how to bridge the gap between communities and agencies.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to Sid Betancourt at [email protected] if you have any questions or feedback.
