Disability justice should be included in any type of advocacy, but especially in the fight to expand affordable housing options for the lowest-income renters. Readers will learn more about Olmstead v. L.C., a historic Supreme Court decision that established the illegality of segregating people with disabilities. Articles in this issue also informs readers about universal design, Medicaid-funded home- and community-based services, and the “Money Follows the Person” principle.

Other articles focus on resident organizing such as National ADAPT's “Lives Worth Life” social media campaign and how Maryland passed right to counsel for renters facing eviction. Additional articles cover the expiration of the federal eviction moratorium, and the upcoming infrastructure spending package.
